WORLD PRICES FOR SKIMMED MILK POWDER REMAIN FAVOURABLE : News archive

As reported earlier this year (please refer to the following link), a number of concurrent factors combined to support a significant increase of the world-market prices for the dairy products. In April-July, world export prices for skimmed milk powder (SMP) have exceeded average prices for the similar period of the last year. Ukrproduct Group has been a beneficiary of this increase as the Group's enlarged SMP capacity met the growing demand for the product on the world market. Raw milk production in Ukraine remained adequate throughout the season, and the Group milk supply of its plants proceeded according to plan. The Group's export managers expect that the favourable world price for SMP will be sustained for the remainder of the year. |
