STAROKONSTANTINOV DAIRY PLANT IS ONE OF UKRAINE’S LEADING BUTTER PRODUCERS : News archive

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, 4.8 thousand tonnes of butter were produced in November 2006. If compared to the same month of the previous year the production volume has decreased by 23,2% (in November 2005 – 6.3 thousand tones). Following the results of November, the largest butter production volume was registered by the enterprises of Vinnytsa region – 554 tones, though there was a slight drop in production (by 0.9%) if compared to November 2005 (559 tones). On the other hand, butter production in Zhytomyr region has increased by 33.8% to 499 tones, in Lviv region – by 26.4% to 436 tones, in Poltava region – by 5.3% to 338 tones, but it went down in Khmelnitskiy region by 36.6% to 302 tones, Sumy region by 25.7% to 249 tones, Chernigiv region by 49.5% to 243. As at 1 December 2006, the butter producers’ inventories amounted to 4.5 thousand tones. Among Ukraine’s leading butter producers are CJSC “Galichina”, “Lustdorf” Llc (Vinnytsia region), Starokonstantinov Dairy Plant and OJSC “Kovelmoloko”. |
